Borney Legnami was originally founded as a sawmill in 1930 in the town of Gressan in the Valley of Aosta. It was founded by Emerico Borney and his son-in-law, Calisto Bionaz and has grown into an important woodworking center under the guidance of the three grandchildren: Emilio, Elisabetta and Romana.
Today, our company specializes in supplying wood products used in the construction of residential and commercial roofs and various other building supply needs. We supply our products to customers locally, nationally, and internationally.
The commercial timber used by Borney Legnami is certified and comes from nearby France, Switzerland, Austria and Germany. The timber is harvested with the utmost respect for all regulations and applicable laws.
In addition, thanks to the experience and knowledge we’ve gained in the woodworking sector, Borney Legnami now offers a number of additional services, like wood planing, wood treatments, wood shaping, and wood beams that we pre-cut to specification. Since we put our heart and soul into all the work we do, we believe there is an extra-special value to all of our wood products.
