Why choose a ventilated roof?
The roof plays an obviously important role in a structure. For this reason it is absolutely necessary to choose top-quality materials that are specially chosen by hand for your particular style of roof.
For years Borney Legnami has recommended a ventilated roof to its clients for 4 principle reasons:
- To eliminate humidity: It is resistant to humidity, which is important since moisture tends to rise toward the roof, creating condensation on the inner surface
- To maintain lower temperatures during the summer between and roof and the calking: During the summer months, hot air is released (up to 80 degrees) before it enters the attic.
- To drain off excess water in order to avoid possible leaks: Strong precipitation can weigh down the roof, which can lead to the possibility of leaks
- To ensure a lasting product by having a roof in stone shingles: The heat that rises on the inside of a structure during the winter is distributed uniformly, avoiding uneven melting of snow. This even temperature distribution allows it to guarantee even freezing and melting due to the cooperation of stone shingles and wooden support structures.
